I also welcome enquiries from professionals outside of the therapeutic context, such as teachers, trainers, doctors whose work might benefit from the reflective space supervision provides to restore and enhance professional practice.

I am now accepting payment by credit and debit card. Please contact me for details
I am now offering one 90 minute session per month (to meet BACP minimum supervision requirement) for £52. Please contact me for details
My name is Steven Wells. I am a qualified and BACP Registered and Accredited counsellor and UKCP Registered Psychotherapist. I undertook my supervision training at Metanoia Institute and hold a Certificate in Person-Centred Supervision. I am a Metanoia Institute recognised supervisor.
I am also a qualified trainer with over 2o years experience of helping others to develop improved communication skills and maintain ethical and safe practice. In addition to my therapeutic and supervisory work I currently facilitate groups on the ‘Counselling and Psychology’ programme at City Lit in London. I am currently completing my final research modules for the MSc in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute in London
I would describe myself as a contemporary person-centered therapist and practitioner. By this I mean I fully respect the original theoretical foundations of person-centred practice, whilst at the same time embracing more contemporary person-centred ideas that have emerged in recent years.
My Supervision Work
I currently work as a clinical supervisor at Mind in Croydon, a local counselling agency where I provide group supervision for three groups.

I have particular experience of providing supervision for trainee counsellors, working towards qualification or accreditation.
I am a Registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy – MBACP (Accred) and UKCP Registered Psychotherapist. I conduct all my work with reference to the BACP and UKCP Ethical Framework. Please contact me if you require any further details.
